HearNow’s Social Gathering

Posted on July 27, 2010 by jasonkeetley

Action Deafness’ HearNow project will be setting up our first social gathering primarily for D/deaf BME communities. This will be the first of its kind in Leicester, and will run fortnightly on Friday evenings at 7.00pm. Based at the Tamarind Restaurant and Bar in the Peepul Centre, there is a bar selling reasonably priced alcoholic and soft drinks, a comfortable seating area, a large screen TV, access to the Tamarind restaurant itself where good food, laughter, culture and conversation all come together.

This will be a great opportunity to get together, meet new friends, have the chance to talk to others from D/deaf BME communities either in BSL or spoken languages.

Everyone is welcome.

From 7.00pm until late.

COMING SOON!
